I agree for the most part although I think East will be better than predicted.  East now has the point guard from Bradley Central who played her first two years at West. East needed a point guard and now they have one.

 

So....it is ok for players to transfer around in District 1 AAA and 2 AAA.....but heaven forbid grandadone.....they cannot do it in District 7AAA...talking out of two sides

Lets see. A school in District 1 gets one transfer in 10 years and Riverdale gets 7 in three years with 3 just this year and you want to call that even treatment and whine about a double standard!! I'

Last week of the regular season. Got one game to decide 3rd this week for d1...it's import because the loser players Tenn High in the first round as opposed to Crockett. It should be a really good reg

Lets see. A school in District 1 gets one transfer in 10 years and Riverdale gets 7 in three years with 3 just this year and you want to call that even treatment and whine about a double standard!! I'll make it clear for you. If any school imports multiple players almost every year then all their victories are tainted.

How do you know a school in District 1 has gotten only one transfer in girls basketball in 10 years?  Do you know that for certain?  That seems highly unlikely.  Most schools get transfers every year, and I am condfident some of these transfers also play basketball.

Alright folks. Its getting really close now so I would like to know some other peoples predictions on District 1 AAA. I dont know a whole lot about the teams up there so would like to see everybodys thoughts on how you think it shakes out up there and a little bit about why you think a team will finish whatever spot you have them in.

I would guess Morristown West. Then Cocke County. Then probably Morristown East.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
