We'll she had a double double against west my not be all American - she's pretty good - it really don't matter nobody is beating riverdale or Blackmon

I believe Riverdale got beat in Tennessee but Blackmon is looking real strong, only loss from outside the state

This is why you play the games - its only half way through, excited about the 2nd half

Congrats Heritage on win over Bearden! Farragut and Maryville should take note and have a player just cover Walsh, shut her down and Bearden will be rattled. Walsh scores about half the points each game for Bearden, do they let anyone else shoot? Come on District 4 , play some defensive . It's up for Grabs!

With the season half over it looks like the Lady Ads are ahead of schedule in establishing their post season dominance.  They've played the hardest schedule in the District and have plainly shown that they are the best around.  Though they are young, their superior conditioning and dedication puts them on top of the heap ahead of schedule!  The rest of the way is down hill!  These are my predicitions based on where we are now!

1.  Farragut (Young But Best Coached, Conditioned and Focussed)

2.  Heritage (Talented But Not in Farragut's class)

3.  Maryville (Getting it into Gear w Loaded Team)

4.  William Blount (Underachieving but turning it around)

5.  Bearden (OK against weak schedule but gonna go El Foldo against the Big Girls)

6. Hardin Valley (Too Talented for Poor Coaching-May have the Second Best Player in District)

7.  Lenoir City (Athletic but Undisciplined)

8.  West (should not be allowed to play Varsity)

As smoky mtn said - with the Lady Ads' awesome shooting and superior coaching, they are on the express to the State tournament--and maybe more!

Don't count William Blount out. We will pull it together as the season progresses. We have some very talented players. My biggest concern is we don't have a lot of depth.

Everyone is going to have a tough time against Farragut. They have a VERY deep bench and their coach knows what he's doing.

Heritage is a good team with a number of good players, but the coach is too hot headed. And it appears he only appreciates one of his players, Knight,  based on the fact she is the only one he consistently promotes in the media. These factors may prove to be a problem for him in the long run.

Bearden has a very talented team and should finish high again this year if they can consistently play in sync and learn not to depend solely on Walsh down the stretch.

Maryville can never be counted out. They have quite a few young players, but they are very well coached.

January 7th

Maryville vs. Bearden (mixed feelings, Bearden)

Heritage vs. Hardin Valley (Would like to see Heritage with this one)

West vs. Lenoir City (Lenoir City should win this one and get the first District Win)

Farragut vs. William Blount (Farragut)

Good Luck Teams, Who do you think?

As I told you all the other night, Farragut is Rising to the Top and Bearden is Going Down!

Look forward to Bearden's Complete Humilation as it is Dominated by the Lady Ads and theyare Trounced in the 3rd big district game in a Row!  Rebecca is gonna show who the Best Player in District is and Madison is gonna fill it up from outside!  Sue is gonna get revenge on those stuck up Bearden girls!  Mady Anna and Burt are gonna Slash them to pieces!

You are gonna see Bearden fall apart as Walsh is shut down and no one else on that team has a clue -- they just throw up air balls without thinking.  Unlike Farragut, they choke since they do not know how to work as a team to find a good shot!

You heard it here First!

Wow Bearden is on a roll downward, 3 in a row! Bearden coach should have not run point guard Sue Kim to Farragut. No comparison with Bearden point and Farragut point. Sue Kim dribbled circles around Beardens point and their 2 guard , Norwood. Usually when you think you know it all and do whatever to players, it all comes back to u, bet that know it all coach at Bearden wishes he never ran Kim off to Farragut. Karma can be a b!{ch, just saying.
