Here's what our boys are facing this weekend.

I am convinced we could have added some more hardware in this one with Bruno @ 285 and Oliver wherever he wanted to go. Murphy & Debian should make some noise here. Look for some Georgia Boys at top...

The 2013 Super 32 Challenge will take place Oct. 26-27, 2013, in Greensboro, N.C.

Considered the toughest preseason tournament in the nation, The Super 32 is a tournament that will test the most seasoned wrestler and allow them to gage where they are heading into the season. Many of the placewinners here go on to become state and national champions.

At the 2013 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, seven of the finalists were wrestlers who previously competed in the Super 32 Challenge during their high school career. This includes four-time national champion Kyle Dake (Cornell), along with two-time champions Jordan Oliver (Oklahoma State) and Ed Ruth (Penn State). Those finishing as runners-up this past year included Tony Ramos (Iowa), Mitchell Port (Edinboro), David Taylor (Penn State), and Dustin Kilgore (Kent State). Of the 330 wrestlers to qualify for the tournament, 93 were past Super 32 Challenge participants, 25 of whom were All-Americans.

All rankings listed or from Amateur Wrestling News.

103 Pounds

Returning placewinners: None

2012 Finals: Nick Suriano (Bergen Catholic, N.J) Decision Spencer Lee (Franklin Regional, Pa) 4-3

The 106-pound weight class is the first of two weight classes that does not have a returning medalist. But at the same time, it is one of the most competitive weight classes in the tournament with 12 of AWN’s Top 20 competing in the tournament.

Leading the way is top-ranked Jack Mueller of Trinity Christian (Texas) who has won a National Prep title. Mueller also captured a Cadet freestyle national championship this summer. New York state champion and middle school Super 32 champion No. 2 Yianni Diakomihalis of Hilton high school will be right on Mueller’s heels.

Tyler Warner of Claymont (Ohio), ranked third at 106, is coming off a great year that saw him win an Ohio state championship and a NHSCA Freshman title. The oldest of this group is senior No. 4 Devon Brown of Franklin Regional (Pa.) who captured a state title in 2013 and was a state medalist in Ohio as a freshman. He should not be overlooked at the weight despite not having as much national success as some of the other wrestlers listed.

Mueller may be the front runner but as we stated with 12 nationally ranked wrestlers entered, he will be challenged early and often this weekend. Of course seeding always plays a role in how we do predictions and seeding this weight will be a chore.

Others to watch:

• No. 5 Gage Curry of North Hills (Pennsylvania)

• No. 6 Rudy Yates of Brother Rice (Illinois)

• No. 8 Chris Lacayo of Santiago (California

• No. 9 Luke Karam of Bethlehem Catholic (Pennsylvania)

• Chad Red of New Palestine (Indiana)

2012 Finals: Ryan Millhof (Collins Hill, Ga) Decision Sean Russell (Collins Hill, Ga) 1-0

With six of the eight placewinners form the 2012 Super 32 Challenge at 106 pounds returning, placing in this tournament is not going to be easy. It will be interesting to see if we can get a rematch of the 2012 106-pound final between No. 1 Nick Suriano of Bergen Catholic (N.J.) and No. 2 Spencer Lee of Franklin Regional.

After winning the Super 32 last year, Suriano posted a 38-0 record on his way to a New Jersey state championship. Lee was a finalist at FloNationals and captured at FILA Cadet Freestyle title.

One wrestler to keep an eye on is seventh-ranked Jose Rodriguez of Massillon Perry (Ohio). Rodriguez has shown steady improvement and did earn top honors in 2013 at the Ohio state tournament. Despite only placing seven in the tournament last season, No. 12 Chad Red of New Palestine (Ind.) went on to win an Indiana state tittle and finished the season with a perfect 48-0 record. Red can be exciting and could be the one who throws a wrench into this weight.

2012 Finals: Sam Krivus (Hempfield, Pa) Decision Josh Alber (Dakota, Ill) 5-1

With nine of the top 20 ranked wrestlers at this weight class and five returning Super 32 placewinners, expect the fireworks to start in the quarterfinals if not sooner.

Look for No. 3 Sean Russell to push for top honors this weekend. Russell has placed twice at this event and will took reach the top of the podium this year. He is a three-time state champion as well as a NHSCA national champion.

A great wrestler from the state of Delaware is seventh-ranked Brent Fleetwood of Smyrna (Del.). This summer, Fleetwood was a double USAW Junior All-American and an NHSCA runner-up to Sean Russell. Fleetwood is the favorite to win his fourth Delaware state title this season. Fleetwood will be heading to Michigan next season to wrestle for Coach Tom Borrelli at Central Michigan.

Another wrestler with a good chance of winning this weight is No. 10 Luke Pletcher. Pletcher captured a FloNationals title last spring at 106 pounds and has placed twice before at this tournament. No. 8 Nick Piccininni of Ward Melville (N.Y.) will pose a serious threat. He is coming off an amazing year that started at this tournament a year ago when he knocked off then top-ranked Zahid Valencia from California. Piccininni then went on to win a state title as an eighth-grader and followed that up with a runner-up finish at FloNationals. It will be interesting to see how he does in this deep weight class.

2012 Finals: Joey Dance (Christiansburg, Va) Decision Michael Kemerer (Franklin Regional, Pa) 4-3

With 10 returning placewinners from 2012 and 2011, this weight class is going to have some intense battles. There is no shortage of talent starting with third-ranked Ryan Millhof of Collins Hill (Ga.). Millhof is up two weights from 113 where he won this event last year and will be looking to win back-to-back belts. The Oklahoma recruit added a NHSCA title to his two state titles last year. Minnesota recruit Tommy Thorn of St. Michael-Albertville (Minn.) comes in ranked fifth and he will be a serious threat to Millhof. Last year, Thorn won his third state championship, a FILA Cadet national title in freestyle and a USA Wrestling Junior freestyle title.

Add to the mix sixth-ranked Josh Alber who was the runner-up at 120 pounds a year ago at this tournament. Alber is a three-time undefeated Illinois state champion. Jared Prince who comes in ranked ninth won a Florida state title last year and capped his season off with a third place finish at FloNationals. The semifinals in this weight should be very exciting.

Cornell recruit and fourth-ranked Joe Galasso of Father Judge (Pa.) is also a Pennsylvania state champion as well as a 2012 FloNationals runner-up. It will be interesting to see if we end up with two keystone state champions battling it out in the finals.

Dixon comes in ranked fourth in the country and is a two-time Oklahoma 6A state champion and Junior freestyle All-American. Zavatsky, ranked 14th, has committed to wrestle at Virginia Tech. Tennessee hasn't faired very well. Murphy and Connell are still alive in the consos. Murphy lost his first match and has won several in a row. Connell just lost 14-0 I think but was his first loss I think. Debein lost a couple of close ones . Stevison went 1-2 losing 7-0 in his last one . Tate Robinson lost his first match in ot and had to injury default out of tournament. Westbrooks went 1-2 or 2-2 and is out. Sutherland out and went 2-2 losing to pa in overtime and Fargo 3 rd placer 5-3 in the last few seconds. Davis from McCallie out at 0-2. Simpson out at 2-2, lost a close one on a questionable call. I'm not sure about the bigger guys. I think Evans was. 0-1 last I saw losing a close one right at the end. Kennedy was 1-1 losing to the ohio state champ, I think Kramer was 1-1 last I saw.
