Collinwood is a very overated baseball team. Power isnt quite there, neither is speed, they have a few decent arms but i wouldnt trust them against a tough team from in the region

What about PC? What are they going to have this year?

Everybody back from last year and from what i've heard they are a lot better and have some pretty good arms in Wilson and Woods. Broadway and Layne (When they get out of Basketball) will be starters as well. Scott the shortstop will be back and with his bat and speed Perry County should be a .500 team.

C wood may be getting better by the minute. New coaches in Andrews and Ward. And some additions to the team. Just heard Logan Montgomery will be pitching for the Trojans this year and can sling it. Look out.

Who are some players to look out for from this district?

The few I know are.

Collinwood - Jace Brewer LHP

Summertown - Konnor Ambrose  OF/3B  Big Hitter

Summertown - Bryce Giles  SS

Perry County- Cameron Wilson (SR)   C/P...Got a great arm behind the plate and has some pretty good stuff on the mound. He hit over .420 last season.

Perry County- Randall Scott (SO)   SS...Got a good bat and good range over at short. He hit over .400 last season.

Summertown opens District play against Perry County Monday. (hopefully) What has Perry County done so far this season?

Eagles have lost 1 game. Season opener against Lawrenceburg, and have won 6 following games.

Beware of the WoW team on the mound! Woods or Wilson -  If they are pitching - Layne will have you thrown out on a steal! Pretty good sticks in the line up (not many SOs), but haven't seen any really good pitchers yet! Scott has his hitting game going on!

Good deal! That's what I'm talkin bout. I hope P.C. does well......just not against us! :D

Perry County fought a good fight tonight!

Summertown struggled but managed to pull out the win to sweep.

The Vikings look to have potential in District from what I've seen thus far. Good luck to them with the rest of their schedule. They have a catcher that is lights out! Be careful on the base paths....he ain't afraid to try to gun you down!

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
