Early predictions for 8-AA 2014

Recommended Posts

Moving foward, I think SC and UHS could develope in two great programs in the near future. SC has been there, if they get back to 80-90 players and at the Maynord level of play they will be a awesome 2a program when realined. UHS has 80 players and are gettting stronger each year under Herron. Should be good in 3a and that school continues to grow. LA's problem is numbers. Typical team has 50 players and 5-7 players never come off the field. Will be harder to compete as they are pusshed into a high division. Look like DC talent level has leveled off.

I am as impressed with this SC team as any I have seen here the last few years especially to be as young as they are. Even looking to the future it's unreal to think of the talent they have coming up the next 2-3 years. The Middle school is losing there O line this year to graduation that averages I am guessing 230, with one kid being 6'3 250. Even heard from a good source there is a soph standing on the sidelines that runs a sub 4.5 40, I haven't witnessed this obviously but did hear from somebody close to him. The 7th grade class this year is one that fans have been watching and talking about since they started pee wee.

    • Wiz, could you kindly inquire of MP whether my pork shoulder has completed its duration in the smoker? My appetite has been piqued, and I eagerly await its readiness. Regrettably, it appears that despite my attempts at communication, there has been no response forthcoming from him.
    • Given your evident depth of knowledge on coaching matters, I'm intrigued to hear your perspective on who you believe would be the most suitable candidate for the position.
    • If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..
    • I live in Macon and watched both but I’ll take up for satterfield on this one look at the dudes he has these 2 years compared to the others don’t forget we barely even scored on them there for awhile when he started coaching there just look at 2018 on   If you give him athletes to play with he’s a dangerous d c.
