  1. High jacking threads just to high Jack someone else’s comment. Go set up camp in the basketball boards.
  2. We aren’t hard to find. I’ll buy you some popcorn to go with that drink bigreid is paying for. Hold the salt of course…
  3. Wrong thread howdoyounotknow. Basketball threads isn’t under the football tab.
  4. I concur. No idea who some of these posters are but hopefully people know they don’t speak for the majority. Definitely not like it used to be on here
  5. Oooperator won’t you put me on through? I gotta send my love on down to Riddleton. Hurry up won’t you get him on the line? I gotta talk to my guy just one more time…. Just saying there’s a guy right down the road from Hartsville but wears purple and white that would coach circles around Blakely…
  6. They have a decent amount of underclassman lineman. They’re not comparable to what they have now but definitely serviceable for 2A. QB’s Dad is the OF and basically has control of the offense plus has started helping with baseball. From my understanding they love it here. I don’t see them going anywhere for a while.
  7. You all had your chance and went with what you have now. Saying that we would LOVE to have Hackett come back and wear the Black and Gold! He would make a fine addition to our current staff. So please H2O faithful keep riding him about 1 bad game in how many years? Maybe he will decide home is where he needs to be.
  8. From what I read on here each week everyone seems to be in agreement on this team except for you. So obviously you have an issue or axe to grind with one in particular on staff. Again go address it with him if you think you’ve got the answers. Then again maybe your the one that’s divided on this as you said…..
  9. 0-0 both times. Smith has given up 24 points in 4 games and 1 of those was when they had players out due to injury. So their defense is a little better than average I’d say.
  10. I haven’t posted in several years, just been reading and keeping up with several teams. Also obviously not a Watertown fan or follower much but I do keep up with them having people I know on the staff, Cody being one of them. If you’ve got such an issue with him how bout go address it? Or better yet give him advice on how to run the offense? You do realize he’s the one that was in Webster’s ear on the headset all those years telling him what he could and couldn’t run right? Instead you, like most others, get on here and blast the coaches for what they’re not doing in your opinion. Sounds to me like an upset former player that had playing time taken away at some point because you couldn’t get the job done. I Seen y’all twice this year and both times Watertown lined up and played with a Smith County team that is pretty good. Didn’t hear any fussing or complaining then.
  11. Maybe he seen something in the game or on the field he thought he could take advantage of. He made the decision and his opinion is the one that matters. Maybe you should turn a resume into him next week and try to get on the staff. I'm sure with your extensive knowledge of the game and statistics of college and pro ball he wouldn't turn you down!
  12. TigerFan I'll take that bet with ya and say SC will lose with out a doubt
  13. Hopefully this will be a good game. Smith county has to clean up Linebacker and DLine play to be a contender in several games this year. I think the Offense has capability of scoring points if they open it up at some point. I feel like they have ran pretty basic plays this far, some due to game/field positions, at least I hope they have anyways. Don't know a whole lot about squatch but hear that they are a very dominant Defensive team. I hope they enjoy the trip to the Hole but have a long ride back.
  14. Smith County should be much improved this year. They have a lot of talent and most of it is young. Their line will be a toss up as stated but they got a good group of big guys as frosh. Hearing their Defense will be the strong point this year. Don't think it has been a big secret that talent level has been down here for the last 2-3 years. If SC can hang on about 2 yrs when this Soph class is Sr's they should be loaded back up with talent. This years 8th grade class is about as loaded a class that has come up in a while. And a side note for the far future the 5th grade class has more athletes in it than the 8th.
  15. I dont disagree with that, especially the last sentence. I am hate like everything that Milan got hurt, but I think it did show some of the other guys that they can go with out him.
  16. I am as impressed with this SC team as any I have seen here the last few years especially to be as young as they are. Even looking to the future it's unreal to think of the talent they have coming up the next 2-3 years. The Middle school is losing there O line this year to graduation that averages I am guessing 230, with one kid being 6'3 250. Even heard from a good source there is a soph standing on the sidelines that runs a sub 4.5 40, I haven't witnessed this obviously but did hear from somebody close to him. The 7th grade class this year is one that fans have been watching and talking about since they started pee wee.
  17. Most people I talked to last week from Gordonsville thought if they shut Milan down they had a chance to win. Milan went out in the 2nd quarter and SC showed how many weapons they have from there on out.
  18. Lol I bet he had that inmate meer cat look when looking between the bars
  19. Now this sounds like an interesting topic
  20. All we need is an Adam and a Ben and we could have the Cartwright gang!
  21. Has Nathan agreed to play his JV against Westy? About the only way that game will be close.
  22. If the Macon vs Westy was as big of game as Stampus is making out he wouldn't be on here bumping his gums. He realizes after this past Friday night that Macon is likely to mercy rule Westmoronland.
  23. I wouldn't say that Gville coaches haven't seen as much being that they was at the Jamboree and Alcoa. Seen Holder after the game he was walking fine said he just tweaked his knee a little and should be fine Monday.
  24. I myself was interested in Alcoa's Middle School. After researching I was shocked that they out scored their opponents last year 394-33, and Maryville Middle scored 22 of those. Sounds like Alcoa High has a great feeder program. I was wondering does Rankin have much say in the Middle School program or does he leave them alone and let them do their own things?
  25. I like the attitude, unfortunately the kid that wrote this broke a vertebrae in his neck during practice a couple weeks ago. Hopefully the rest of the guys have this same attitude! It's a long shot but that's why the games played. Heck nobody expected Appalachian State to beat Michigan a few years ago did they Old SC 7?
