CPA lost 83-81 in OT in Kentucky to Ballard - the #1 team in Kentucky. CPA led early then Ballard had a good 2nd quarter to take a 3 point halftime lead. Ballard led by 5 after 3 qtrs., then CPA came back in the 4th. CPA missed a breakout layup with about 10 seconds to go that would have possible won the game in regulation. In OT, CPA had a chance to tie in the last minute but travelled on a fast break. Ballard led most of the OT but CPA kept it close and missed at the buzzer to lose by 2. Ballard made free throws in OT when they needed to. CPA's Micah Davis hit some big threes in the clutch.

Don't know any other details or box score.

Good showing by CPA on the road against a nationally ranked team with a Louisville and Butler signee. Should help them tourney time.

Ballard is a great team and the Martin kid was dominate inside. They were ferocious rebounding and very strong. There were some odd things happen....after a disputed charging call the Ballard coach took the ball, walked down his bench to the end of the bleachers where a cooler of water and cups were sitting, took a drink and walked back to the bench with the ball still under his arm. No call. The refs thought it was funny. This only a few seconds after CPA was called for a delay of game to put a contact back in. Pretty odd.
