Based on the results from the state tournament, I'd say that NE TN represented well. The fact that EHS and Fulton were in the finals also supports the contention that both CAK and Grainger were better than a lot of Middle TN folks gave them credit. Either would have contended had they been in the tournament field. BTW, SE Raleigh is playing for the NCHSAA 4A championship today. This team is similar to Fulton in personnel, but a bit better (likely because their kids were a little more experienced). So if you have doubts about whether they were good (or a bit behind the Upper Cumberland), schedule them next year and see for yourself.

 

Congrats to all teams on a successful year! Good luck next year.

The only team they lost to besides the two to Science Hill, made it to the final 4 in the SC 4A.
