sure like that 152. I like that 170 picking 'cept you gotta wonder who would win between Kennedy and Hagey... isn't that right Ol blaze dad

Here are the questions I have

1. King wrestled @ 106 but got the award at 113? WHY

2. Why did they share 126?

3. 152 even as good as he is, why did he get this award he did not even place at state?

4. 170 from Riverdale went undefeated and won state, and did not win or even share the award, TERRIBLE CALL.

5. Not sure why they shared the 220 award and not the 170.

The Dream Team is selected by Middle Tennessee coaches at a meeting held the Sunday after the Region Duals in January.  Results from the state tournament have no bearing on the selections.

Coach Blair

Ok then why did they not share the 170, you are telling me that Kennedy does not deserve to share this award.

As a father of four sons, for me, it's a strange feeling to see your boy not win state, but receive this middle tn award.., maybe a consolation prize in a way? Bitter -Sweet, in that order.

Notice that THREE 285's were nominated and represented Mid-Tn well!!!

......But for an Undefeated State Champ that most knew would end his Jr year that way,,, that seems a bit crazy Not to mention.

Perhaps post season emails may be a more accurate way to nominate and vote.

Congrats to Sean Kennedy for overcoming much and doing what he did in 2013-14!!  I expect an amazing Senior year from that fine young man.

Congrats to  Al Miller's son...  Pete at New and upcoming Summit HS between Franklin and Columbia, TN
