Eagleville looked good yesterday. Jr. Kristin Barnes is ready to make her mark on the district this year, she's improved significantly.

Forrest's issue will be the same issue they had last year: every player on the team thinks she is the best player. Too many players taking contested shots rather than dishing it to a teammate with a better shot.

Community still looks like the favorite to me, haven't seen MTCS or Moore Co.. But my guess is, it's either Community or MTCS left standing after the Region Tourney.

I agree, but I think 9A grows up a lot this year. The teams just have more room for growth out of their young players. Not to mention that these teams were not that bad last year. By the end of the season I think about 4 of these teams will be able to play a competitive game with Houston. In other news I saw were MTCS won there play day games. How do the other teams in 9A look at these play days?. Good luck to everyone.

They Beat Davidson Academy 49-12,  Stratford 40-10, and Chukey Doak 50-44.

I'll see MTCS & Moore Co this weekend @ Riverdale. So after this weekend I'll have a good feel on how the entire district looks.

Last year Moore won 2 and mtcs won 1 game. However moore lost a great player and mtcs got a good player back. It will be an interesting game. A lot of questions about the season will probably be answered. I do not see eagleville being all that great because they are a one girl show and any team with a girl athletic enough to stop her stood their team.
