Blackman is a favorite to end Maryville's run at the top!

 

Riverdale may make the playoffs, but their time at the top has passed!

 

Blackman is one of my picks to win 6A and to end Maryville's string of 10 Straight State Titles and run at the top!

How many "picks" do u have to "win 6a"? Most people pick one team to win 6a state championship

Whitehaven and White Station have both beaten Maryville in the past 5 years in the Championship game.

Long ways to go before this happens! Have to get to the semi finals first! Besides you have 8 games before the playoffs! One at a time Chris!!

Guys what are u doing ? Lets concentrate on the district first! I love the vote of confidence but, until someone upsets the champs don't stir the pot! Not too mention Hoover, then Oakland again come playoffs. So don't put any unnecessary pressure on these kids. Let them do it one at a time, hopefully injury free! GO BLAZE!!!!

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
