none taken but we do have a banner at our field and a trophy that says it plus I know it pisses people off when you say co district..expecially the AC faithful. Lol.to be honest I know the kids like that kind of stuff but of it don't say state champion on it I don't put to much in to it..and I still can't believe rings for a district title. I have inside information and Price brothers are gonna stack the box against Fox.  All I'm going to say is the ONLY way AC has a chance is if they throw the ball and I don't think they can do that.  Should be an interesting game!  Campbell County 38-24

Well I have 2 things on that, the first is that I did not agree with the whole district champ ring thing just like I dont agree with the whole Co-champ trophies and banners...I feel it works both ways in the sence that I am old school and feel that a ring is sacred to a state championship just like a banner should only be for a true district champ, I have always felt that if you start celebrating Not winning it or start giving awards that mimic state championships (such as a ring) than you kind of lose the hunger for the real thing, this goes for CC celebrating a district championship they did not get as well as AC celebrating a District Championship with hardware ment for a state Championship. I u start celebrating those false accomplishments than you will never achieve the real deal. Thats my .02 on thatt

 

Second is I was told by a parent that the rings themselves were donated by a company that Pennington has intrest in, wheather true or not I dont know, and I also dont know if the teams had to pay to personalize them. So I dont know about the whole money thing on it

I understand. What is even more mind boggling to me though and I understand I am an OR fan and we are used to winning through the years, but Clinton had banners on their field for going to the 1st round of the playoffs and 2nd round. Now I am not saying these things to put down either program, but to me it just makes the two programs look like they have never been there before and are not used to winning. Just my opinion.
