My Predictions for district 10A week 3 football

 

NCS 42-21 over Davidson Academy. (NCS will win but I think DA can score)

 

Eagleville 28-17 over Jo Byrns. (CA scrimmaged Eagleville earlier this year, lots of size.

 

Harpeth 28-17 over East Robertson. (East Rob has potential)

 

Clarksville Academy 34-13 over Collinwood. (this is a game that the Cougars have been waiting on)

 

Houston county and McEwen have bye weeks.

Once again, no respect for Clarksville Academy by many. I understand that we will have to earn it but hard to believe most are picking Collinwood over CA. Guess we will know for sure about 10:00 on Friday night. I am curious as to why most think Collinwood will win?

How did Eagleville/CA scrimmage go?

Well it was a 3-way preseason scrimmage that also had Columbia Academy. We held our own against them. Also not sure what they showed but seemed to be a power team, they had lots of size. RB was a bull. They didn't pass much. Big linebackers.

Why I picked CA to lose:

1. I picked them to lose by 1 point (could go either way really)

2. CA is 1-2 with their only win against a 0-3 ER team

3. You've said repeatedly that you guys are riddled with injuries +

4. CA had very few players to begin with

 

C'wood hasn't won a game so there's no reason to pick them to win either but if I had to guess, they would have beaten ER too.  So neither team is very impressive on paper.
