Glad there's an open date next week. May be able to get healthy at the right time.

I don't know about how the coaches run their practices or prepare the team. I do know that many of them have coached for a loonngg time. Most coached with or played for Coaches Rankin or Maynord. I trust they know what they are doing for the best interest of the kid(s) and the team. I do know if we don't trust the coaches, we've already lost, and lost more than just a football game.

I'd heard QB had a concussion after last week. If so that's a mandated week off per TSSAA. But either way you are correct have to wrap up on defense and protect the ball on offense.

I will correct myself. The player must be cleared by a MD before returning following a concussion. In Jamestown that means at least one week missed. Lol

Don't think it was a concussion, he came back in the game, most likely got his bell rung.

slowly moving toward a two hand touch game in football. Watching NFL football has become a joke with all these tackled to low, tackled to high, breathed to hard on the qb penalties. Slowly it is trickling down into college and high school ball. Edited September 18, 2014 by UpperCumberlandMan
