We got one of our injured back this week, Coach Clark will have those boys ready to go. I'm not sure what to expect but he will have them prepared and that's reality. Thanks nd same for your guys

Clarksville Academy took the opening drive down the field only to miss the field goal. After a slow start and a few other bad plays the Cougars found their self down 20-7. But CA regrouped and leads Harpeth 21-20 at the half.

Well gentleman it's time to say, how about those Clarksville Academy Cougars. CA pulled the homecoming upset special tonight beating the Harpeth Indians 42-27. CA is now 4-2. The Indians came to play and it was a very physical game. I expected more passes but they mostly ran the ball. At one point in the first half the Indians lead 20-7. The Cougars dominated the 2nd half. It was the longest and worst officiate game I have ever seen. Penalties were called over and over on both teams. This game even had 2 "grounding" calls. I would guest that there were over 35-40 penalties called. One referee (line judge) was responsible for 1/2 of them. He was awful.

 

Time to prepare for an always tough game next Friday against JB.

We had the strangest game/stats last night......

 

only 17 plays from scrimmage (11 rushes, 6 passes), only 4 first downs

 

starting QB threw the ball 5 times - 3 TD passes

 

WR/DB had 3 TDs (pass reception, INT, fumble recovery) - great night for that young man

Gotta figure out how to beat the Red Devils and Irish first. Then it will be a big game.
