Centennial @ Franklin part 2

I think the weather favors Franklin as well.  Last Friday wasn't a passers type of game but Franklin managed to win anyway.  This one won't even be close...FHS 35 CHS 21

I picked Franklin in a close one but, the cold weather kinda favors a running team. This is possibly the best game in the first round! Play well men!

Well it looks like turnovers lost it for Franklin.  Congrats to the Rebels on a good season.  Good Luck to Coach Rector and the Cougars vs Hendersonville.

Turnovers/stupidity.  At the end of the first half, Franklin dodged a bullet when Centennial came up just short on a fake FG.  On first down from the one, they got a favorable spot to avoid a safety.  After a short gain on second down, they elect to pass on third down with 24 seconds left.  The QB was pressured in the end zone and threw a pick six, putting Centennial up 14-7 at the half.  Bet that play call will keep Webb awake for a month.

 

BTW, Dodson is a beast at LB.

Congrats to the Cougars!

 

Such a shame here in Tennessee we have to use a playoff system that has to be the worst in the history of football! 8-2 Franklin plays 8-2 Centennial in the first round after Franklin finished second in their district and Centennial finished third in the same district. You can't make this crap up!!

 

Check out next year...the big 6 schools in the county are in 3 different districts smh

 

Once again Congrats to the Cougars and go beat Hendersonville

WOW Just WOW! What a freaking game! I just read the recap, incredible! The TSSAA should be embarrassed!! No way these two teams should have met first round. This wasn't the only one. But it should prove a point. Enough ranting back to Centennial, good luck with the Commandos next week! Should be another great game!
