EHS jumped out on us quickly...DOGS have fought back to within 4 (22-18) with 1:24 left in 1st half....An EHS player was accidentally cut by his own teammate and came down hard on his neck/head...Ambulance has been called....Hope it's just for safety reasons and the young man is okay!

A fall away (to the side) 3 ball, then another 3 ball with no time on the clock...That's the way it goes when we're not rebounding and being strong in the post.

Lucas coached a good game for EHS and they are long and shot well!

Uknoit, you're right about not rebounding and being strong in the post. EHS has a strong team this year, but Hampton looked out of it way too many times during the game. Sometimes I wonder how much of the publicity and press they let sink in. You can get too full of yourself. That said, they showed good grit in coming back and almost winning, but it shouldn't have come to that. The shot was after the buzzer, saw the replay, but again it should not have come to that. I can only hope they learn from this, because they're not gonna overwhelm people just by walking on court. The game has to be played, and WON, by the effort that's put in.

Yes they did come back and play stronger...A LOT of shots didn't fall tonight....Ever so often it was Eliz size that caused that.

Eliz would rather beat us as to breathe!

The football players will be in basketball shape when we head to their place. The rematch will be much fun
