All State Teams

Let me first say congrats to all the young men that made the all state teams. 

 

Next, why are they so watered down? This state is crazy...we have 8 state champions....watered down there & the all state teams, well there are just too many kids. I am sure they are all great ball players & well deserving of the recognition, but what sticks out to me is this....

 

6a-there are 5 all state QBs....5a there are 4 all state QBs. Thats just crazy...last time I checked there is only 1 QB on the field at a time...so I would think 1 QB would be plenty, 2 at the most. In the old days I thought there was a 1st & 2nd team for offense & defense.

 

Maybe I am old school, but I feel we hand out too many trophies these days.

It just might be a tad bit easier if the sportswriters of Tennessee just listed the names THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT IN EACH CLASS.

Congratulations to Hville's 2 linemen that made the 6-A all state team. SR OL Jacob Throneberry and SR DL Chris Kacprowski. Not only outstanding football players but outstanding young men. Also congrats to Rodrick Napper of Beech, who made the 5-A all state team as a RB.

might be to many but half of them dont get to play in bowl games so that is their reward.congrats to Tyler Ferguson and Josh Jackson of Loudon for making it.Neither invited to any bowl games,but rewrote the record books at Loudon high.congrats to 2 young fine boys.
