Alcoa Tornadoes 2015

I've been to A lot of Alcoa football games over the years, well i've been to many games period! lol I really like the hard nose coach that Gary Rankin is, and a great person too. I hate that Cak and Alcoa might not play down the road to me that makes things too Easy but whatever the TSSAA wants. Who was before Rankin was it the guy Meadows? I'm trying to recall my Alcoa history......

John Reid 2003-05

Phillip Ironside 1998-99

Ronnie Phelps 1992-97

I agree.

 

But...we got a SOLID coach after that who has reestablished stability at Alcoa and led us to 6 more titles (to this point).

He was named Head Coach of the Rome(GA) Wolves in February

Yeah, he's been a few places down there.

He's going to be paid 95,000 dollars a year. He's walking into a good situation with a team that was in the Playoffs in 2014.

Ironside changed the helmets to the Princeton Helmet*. That was some bad juju!
