Westview had 3 of their best athletes on the bench in foul trouble the first half. Game was not close in the second half.

Agree. Westview has too many athletes and plays too well at home to be beat by anyone in the District. Westview definitely has an advantage with districts and regionals being at their place this year. As long as they stay healthy, they will win districts and compete for the 1 and 2 spot finish for the region to advance to substate.

do you see Westview competing vs Southside, Fayette Ware, and Lexington from 14AA

Can they compete with them? Yes definitely...especially playing on their home court. They only lost to South Side their very first game of the season by 6 points. They also have beaten two very good teams Kingsbury and Ridgeway this season. They will be Southside, Fayette Ware, and Lexington's biggest competition out of 13AA

Agree they are the best team in 13AA. Agree home court advantage will help. Whoever they play will need to jump out early to get the crowd out of the game in order to neutralize that advantage. Westview only has one Senior and that may play a role as well. The 14AA has lots of Seniors that have been there before.

Westview's juniors have played since their freshmen year, so they might as well be considered seniors as far as playing time goes. Don't get me wrong...they will be even better next year with only losing one player, but I don't think them having only one senior should make a difference this year. Last year, they gave Southside all they wanted in the first round of regions and that was with Malik Hicks still playing for Southside.

Westview has a great team for sure. Who else comes out of 13AA besides them and Obion County?

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
