cshs81
I live in KY and my son and I like to get out and see football games. I'm looking for some guidance on what game you would tell someone like me to go see if I wanted to get a true TN high school football experience. I'm not necessarily looking just for the best teams. I'm looking for the best experience. Atmosphere, setting, quality of play, community support, etc. Give me some games to consider. Thanks

rebelwoman87
The Alcoa/Maryville game is always fun. And the Fulton/Maryville game has a lot talking already.
rebelwoman87
I'm looking forward to the Oak Ridge/Sevier County game. Too great offenses. So glad this game is on Thursday.
RedRobin1
If you are closer to middle Tennessee, I suggest the following: October 2: Brentwood Academy @ Ensworth October 9: Ensworth @ Montgomery Bell Academy October 30: Montgomery Bell Academy @ Brentwood Academy. Can't go wrong with any of these games.

Governm
If I was going to recommend a place to go for an outsider, I'd say go to an Oak Ridge home game. It's always a great atmosphere at Blankenship field. When you go to that little square where the stadium is it's like stepping back in time. On a Friday night almost everybody (atleast it seems that way) in the town makes the pilgrimage to Big Ed's pizza (it's right across from the stadium) and then head on over to the game. I'm a William Blount homer and I have seen lots of local teams play but nothing really comes close to seeing an OR game at Blankenship Field. It's a very unique experience that you won't get anywhere else. Edited July 5, 2015 by Governors91
