Coach Stephenson is a great guy and I wish him the best but he does not have the same team as last year. The super soph. as she is called is good but tends to choke in big games. ( District Sub-state) They will get better as the season progresses but I don't see them winning much over half of their games. Friday night was a rough start to what I am afraid will be a long season for the Lions. Work hard ladies and good luck.

They ran into a buzz saw Friday nite, one of the 2 best teams in west Tennessee. Dresden will win more than their share of ball games, they have a couple of good role players. They are still young and need to "toughin up" some. Playing teams like Gibson and Westview will only help them.

I WILL GUARANTEE THAT DRESDEN WILL WIN OVER HALF THEIR GAMES THIS YEAR, AS OF LAST NIGHT THEY ARE 2-0 OR 2-1 DEPENDING IF YOU WANT TO COUNT THE GIBSON COUNTY GAME. THEY ARE YOUNG, BUT THEY WILL GROW MORE MATURE AS THE YEAR GOES ON AND THE LEADER OF THE TEAM FIGURES OUT SHE IS THE ONE EVERYBODY IS LOOKING TO. THEN THE REST OF THE TEAM WILL GEL TOGETHER, THEY ARE NOT PLAYING FOR NOW, THEY ARE PLAYING FOR MARCH, WHEN IT COUNTS. ONE QUARTER AT A TIME, ONE GAME AT A TIME.
