Here are this weeks games and my random thoughts on the region.

Centennial (6-1 / 4-0) @ Brentwood (4-3 / 4-0)

Clarksville (5-2 / 2-2) @ Northeast (3-4 / 1-3)

Henry County (6-1 / 4-0) @ Dickson County (2-5 / 0-4)

West Creek (0-7 / 0-4) @ Rossview (4-3 / 1-3)

- Henry County continues shut-out steak.

- Centennial continues to build momentum for Regional title game (week 10)

- Clarksville finishes strong with 3 game winning streak.

- Brentwood starts a 3 game losing streak but still makes the playoffs.

- Rossview gets an easy win before hosting Centennial.

- Northeast finishes 4-6 (2-5)

- Dickson County finishes 3-7 (1-6)

- West Creek finishes 0-10 (0-7)

Think I agree with you as far as this week goes.  Feel like Brentwood has some talent but it just doesn't show up some nights. Don't have too much to base that on besides stats and scores, but there is usually always going to be talent at a place like that, it just depends on the coaching. Guess we'll find out more about them from here on out.

I do think that the HC-Centennial game will be a great one, and said as much before the season started in that region thread.  It all comes down to balance.  They shouldn't be able to lean on us. They'll have to be able to mix in some passes... That's no secret. But I will say that the margin for error when it comes to passing on that defense has been lowered significantly over the last few weeks.  We'll see. Should be fun.

Pilgrim I feel compelled to let you know the CHS - NEHS game was not moved because of fall break.  It was moved up because there are so many games on Friday that the assigning officer of officials, Don Barry, asked Coach Arrington if he would moved the game to Thursday with the promise of us having a 7 man crew instead of the normal 6 man crew.  In fact, this crew is the same crew that will be assigned a state championship game in Cookeville this December.

"Pilgrim" must be in reference to the Duke.

Thanks Sheppy.

You obviously have a much better source of information than I do.

It definitely is a good move on your part. I know a lot who will be able to attend on Thursday instead of Friday.

Looking at this game a little closer, it looks like NE is having a much better season than last year and their 3 conference losses are to the top 3 teams.

Should be a good game.
