We travel to Maryville tonight and Dobyns-Bennett tomorrow night.  We host Karns on Saturday.

The thing about Sevier County is that gets me is that they have played 29 games in 31 days. Major League teams rarely even do that. It must be nice to have the pitching depth to be able to do that.. Lord I remember back when I played, we didn't get 29 games in an entire regular season sometimes.

We lost to Maryville last night 5-4 in 5 1/2 innings.  Apparently it was a tournament game with a 2 hour and 20 minute time limit.  I thought time limits were for little league and travel ball. 

 

Also, the visitors parking at Maryville's new field sucks.

We got slobber knocked by Dobyns-Bennett 11-2. We were down 2-1 in the sixth when a costly error allowed 8 unearned runs. Just bad.

 

We have Science Hill tonight.

Science Hill beat us 11-3. Our defense has got to improve. We're committing too many errors and allowing way too many unearned runs.

We lost 4-0 to DB. We only had 2 hits.

Another tough loss, this time it was 6-5 to Karns in 9 innings.  That's seven 1 run losses this season.  These boys are so close.

That's tough man. There have been rumors flying around about JC's coach. Is there any truth to it or is it just rumors?

What rumors?  I haven't heard anything regarding our baseball coach.  He's been here for several years but this is his first year at the helm.  The parents and the players seem to like him a lot.  We are looking for a new football coach though.
