I agree except that I don't know that Sevier County has another loss in the district if they beat East tonight while East, West, and Jefferson County could all split with each other and be left fighting for 2nd place.

They might not. I'm just glad we earned a split with them. I think every team's goal is to be on the opposite side of the district tournament than Sevier County.

Well, we pulled that one out of our rears. We were trailing Cherokee 7-1 going into the bottom of the 7th and scored 7 runs with no outs to win 8-7.

Wish I could say the same for us. We trailed 5-0 and lost 5-4 to Seymour. Crazy how 6 teams are still at or within one game of first place.

Another game and another crazy finish.  Jeff County and Greeneville were tied 2-2 going into the bottom of the 7th.  Greeneville's pitcher hit three batters to load the bases and then hit a fourth batter to force in the winning run.

West won at Bearden 8-2 last night and beat Cookeville 7-2 today. Playing as a team seems to work better for us. It's weird. Haha

Think that's bad? We hit five dang home runs at Cherokee tonight and still lost on a walk off sacrifice fly 8-7. Hard to swallow this one.

Yeah. 5 total, but they were all solo shots. Still we should've won. We get them today at Trojan Park.
