If today is not evidence that high school basketball needs a shot clock I don't know what it will take! Drove two hours with two sons to watch good basketball games and all Memphis teams want to do is play stall ball. Ridiculous

shot clocks are needed. but ball holding cost East more than it helped so its not the reason teams are losing if you ask me

BTW is holding the ball every possession even though they have a 10 plus point lead. Ridiculous. Refs this whole tournament have been terrible. Not just against VB either. Against us against them against everybody. They have missed a good 5 walks against BTW.

Watching the game,#10 for BTW is not traveling. A player gets two steps on a shot OR a pass if it is a continuous motion.

if your opponent isn't going to pressure you on ball, why not hold it. You play the game to win not to make it easy on your opponent by jacking up shots

You're right. In fact, as soon as you score 2 points why not just hold the ball the rest of the time. Who needs to play a ball game? It'd be different if it was the 4th quarter.

Mills for VB had 67% of the teams points.

 

Ended up with 55%.

I don't know who it was. Either way it doesn't matter. I'm not blaming the refs. We played terrible.
