Region 4-4a

Recommended Posts

Giles finished 2 in 7v7 at Memphis on Friday. Hearing that the new qb is the real deal.

Yep word has been traveling about him. Also heard about a kid that transferred in from Buckhorn. The economy in Giles county must be booming. However word is the kid from Buckhorn will be ineligible according to the new TSSAA rule.

I talked to an old fisherman that knows his fishing and he says the Tullahoma Wildcats are looking pretty good in the 7 on 7 passing tournaments.

Best of luck to Coach Olive and the Wildcats; I hope they get back to winning.

Rumors are flying that the Patriots maybe getting too big for 4 A football; the school is growing and the recruiting is paying off in the number of kids out for football. I also hear that they are trying to settle in on a QB but the new kid from Summit may have to sit out a year.

Spring Hill ( as Forrest Gump would say) is like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get. They could content for 2nd or might be at the bottom of the Region.

I saw Page in a spring scrimmage and their o-line needs a little help..... Team they played put a lot of pressure on the QB .... the kid from Summit who's father just happened to land the QB coach position on the staff is a good athlete and I don't think this year he would be in the QB hunt but would expect that to be different next year..... If he can play this season I would look for him to challenge for a DB position ....

Yep saw the same scrimmage and would have to agree. No athletes either from what I saw.

Wasn't the same thing said last year?

BooWho, when fishing for the Big Tuna if you catch a shorty (under 73 inches long) you have to release the Blue Fin for another year of growing bigger, faster, and stronger. That being said I am sure the young talent has put in the hard work in the off season, but are they going to be strong enough for 4A football.

Side note for all fishermen out there the new season of Wicked Tuna Outer Banks starts next Monday at 8pm central time on NGC.

Marshall has burnt thru every team they have faced in 7 on 7 but we all know that's flag football with no hogmollies upfront.. Just a prediction but based on what returns and coaching I'll take MC by 14 or more in every region game and the rest can battle it out for second. Major OC and private Joe will have Giles improved but they won't like that trip to Lewisburg come September. Spring Hill should be primed for playoff run with their star power skill guys but I have no idea if coaching will still be lacking with a new staff. Football is almost here and the leaves can't turn fast enough

I am now thinking i will be fishing in deeper water this year; sometimes the Big Tuna move to other locations and you have to gas up the boat and go where the Blue Fins are. Having said that Tullahoma will end up on the bottom of the Region this year but will surprise someone with a win. 1-9 for the young Wildcats.

Please list any scrimmages for the first week for Region 4 4A.

Don't forget Monday Night Wicked Tuna Outer Banks on NGC!!!!
