If 35 is hitting like last night somebody will slow down, we got a monster in the middle also by the name of Savon remember that name. As far as our pass defense goes I just don't know Tn. High is not the team to judge your pass defense against. Needless to say I think DB stops the Cats run attack but I don't think we have the secondary to stop the pass. It's no secret we live and die by the rushing attack hows your D line, linebackers looking? Hoping for a competitive injury free game! DB 21 OR 28 in a heart breaker.

Not a chance DB stops our running game. Our backs are young but tough and speedy. The LBs are very solid as well. No need to discuss the OR passing game because the number 3 receiver in the country will be at the ship along with several other stud pass catchers.

My main concern is still the inexperience at QB. Stewart played very good last night but DB's defense is in another league than Clinton. Most young QB struggle at least one game.

Best of luck to both teams and I too think this will be a close game to watch.

On offense DB is average. No big play makers or future div.1 players. It will take some creative play calling to hang with Oak Ridge. If the old Graham Clark of the early 2000's show's up DB could get it done. Or maybe pull out that play book he always uses against Sevier Co. On defense DB has a couple of linebackers that are very good. I don't remember them ever having two this good on the same team. The D-Line is still a question mark. I know we have one guy thats a beast but not sure how he'll handle the double team that he's sure to get. The secondary has some good athletes but are very poorly coached. You know it's bad when you call up a ex-player to help coach up your secondary. It's probably going to come down to if the defense can get good pressure on the QB and force a lot of mistakes. I guess in our dream world us DB fans are thinking the Indians have been sandbagging in scrimmages this year. Hey, that is possible you know.

    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
    • They struggled to field a team last year. I don’t see them being much better?
