FCS v. DCA

This has been a very close game in the past few years. DCA won in 2011 and FCS has won the series since. The last three years have been very close. FCS defense has played very tough the last four games. If they contain Walker, it should be a great game.

Nobody has contained Walker all year. I think the key is to keep him under 200 and stop the DCA passing game. Win the turnover battle and do the above and you'll have a great chance to win.

DCA led the series for three decades and lately FCS has found a way to win at the end of the game. Should be a good game.

This game was much closer than the score. DCA up 30-0 at half but FCS had some really costly turnovers.

Good luck to FCS.

FCS has been plagued by costly turnovers much of this season.  DCA is a well coached, disciplined football team.  They came out and executed their plan.  Best of luck to my DCA friends as you move toward the playoffs.

You too! You guys have some great people. Folks like Dickey, McNamee and Cherry and others are as good as you'll ever find. Have the greatest respect for those men and their families.

I was very relieved when the game was over that during the game your huge linemen didn't squash #51 and so was his mother. Lol

DCA played a great game and will represent our district well come playoff time.  Your son played really well too!  I know that you are proud of him and his accomplishments.  Good luck to the Wildcats moving forward.

    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
    • Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
