utvol2
if this is true then TSSAA should be ashamed of themselves. T$$AA has no shame!! All about the $$ not the price tag!! Hate it that you can't even do a nice gesture for a kid that had no bearing on the outcome of the game!!
BoardHater71
Kid that played was two days too old and was given ONE snap in Senior game after he attended all practices and games for the entire year it was self reported by a higher up- don't believe any harm toward Harpeth or anyone else was meant just trying to do a good thing for a young man and unfortunately it has backfired That's a shame. I hate it for the kid because he feels guilty for something he couldn't control. I hate it for the team because it takes away their winning season. I hate it for the coaches because they've worked their tails off to put the Cubs Football Program back on the radar. I hope the players and coaches rally around this and find a way to use it as fuel to ignite a playoff run. It could be the perfect motivating factor for the team. Go Cubs! I doubt anyone on the Cubs side is upset since they now draw a struggling Stratford versus Goodpasture.

So, there is either a coincidence where another player had the same birthday or there is some misinformation going around.

At least they are playing home grown kids unlike in previous years where they had to play a store bought team.

I'm confused, are you making some type of snide comment about CPA because I said the kid shouldn't feel bad or guilty because I feel the cubs are in a better position to win their first round game now? FBGIRL
Stratford is the better draw right now.
Gerry Bertier
Hate it for the student, and for Harpeth who was under the impression they would have a home game next week in the playoffs. Them and the young man are the two entities hurt the most by this.
Southtowner
Too old before the season ever started if he indeed was too old to play Friday. 2016-17 TSSAA Handbook Age Limit Section 9. No student shall be eligible to participate in any athletic contest during any school year if he/she becomes 19 years of age on or before August 1. DominateTheTrenches
Something seems amiss. They better figure it out quickly. Teams have to prepare for round 1. I believe four playoff teams would be affected by this?
