AFTER WATCHING HS BASKETBALL FOR OVER 50 YRS AND A RETIRED TEACHER AND COACH OF 4 DIFFERENT SPORTS BASKETBALL OFFICALS ARE THE WORST WHAT WE NEED TO DO IS JUST TAKE ONE PERSON FROM EACH SIDE OF THE GYM AND THEN FLIP A COIN TO SEE WHICH SIDE GETS THE THIRD CHOICE THESES PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE RUNNING AROUND OUT OF POSITION MAKING WRONG CALLS AND SHOWING THE OTHERS UP AND THEY ARE SO DUMB THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW OR UNDERSTAND THAT THE THE OTHER IS SHOWING THEM UP GLAD I AM FINALLY OVER WATCHING HS BASKETBALL. YEARS AGO THE TSSAA CAME UP WITH THIS SLOGAN THAT READS JUST DO WHAT IS RIGHT REALLY THEY NEED TO TRASH THAT PEOPLE THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND

IT IS NOT THE LOSING IT IS HOW THE CALLS GO LET THE YOUNG MEN AND LADIES PLAY THE GAME LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE TAUGHT COACHED AND PLAYED . NOT BY SOME BEER BELLIED ALCOHOL BREATHING RED FACED BUTT HOLE WITH A WHISTLE CHASER IN HIS MOUTH GRANTED I WOULD NOT WANT THE JOB BUT DANG JUST TO CALL SOMETHING BECAUSE THEY FARTED AND THE WHISTLE WENT OFF. CALLS ARE BAD BOTH WAYS IT IS A JOKE TO HAVE TO PAY MONEY TO WATCH DUMB AND DUMBER

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
