Scott County has always had a tough hard nosed football team. They are in a tough region, or used to be. We know that they will knock your block off and you better come ready to play some football.

A family member was speaking with a lady around 2pm about Scott and she said she is going watch them play AC today.

AC takes the early lead passing on every single play of the drive. AC leads 7-0 with 9:54 left in 1st.

Scott unable to get anything going early on. AC using a lot of screen passes and have only ran the ball about 3 times. Their last run was another score. AC 14-0 3:51 left 1st

Scott finally with a descent drive to pull within 7. AC with the 14-7 lead with 23 seconds left in 1st.

Scott's weakness seemsto be their O Line for sure. AC leading 21-7 4:30 left in 2nd

Yeah if I'm not mistaken they only had 2 starters(?) back on the OL, 1 I think (#78?) got injured mid-season, I believe from what I saw in the other scrimmages 2 on OL is Juniors(going by last years football preview newspaper) and maybe a Sophomore.

When I watched the Rhea Co - AC highlights on MaxP AC had some good success throwing on them and they threw a lot it seemed, like 2-1 pass-run ratio.

Mavs pretty much had their way on both sides of the ball. Yeah Scott County just could not block. Looked rough on defense too.

Scott County QB will need an ice bath tonight. Poor kid took a beating. I think clinton wins week 1 pretty easily. Scott is just not quite ready up front. AC on the other hand looked pretty solid. Should have a 7-9 win regular season. Good mix of skill players and lineman.

Yeah, I felt sorry for the SC qb. You could tell he was getting frustrated.

What was the final? I figured Scott wouldn't be able to hang with AC. I would almost bet it will be the same against Clinton.
