youthsportsPIX
Ahh, I may have a different take on this game now. I was concerned how much of an impact that would have on NCS after Wilhoite transferred to Siegal. But with Myers out too NCS is a different team. OrangeEagle
We looked good against Pearl with Xavier running the ball. Jesse was a flat out beast against Wayne County. Need both those guys in their positions to have a chance to be a special offense

Really didn't expect a game even close to this, but mark my word...once we get our number one RB back we will be a force to be reckoned with. I have no doubt that we can go all the way to state. Go Eagles!! This RB must be some kind of special. CA went up 21-0 after losing their starting QB and still wound up winning by 2 TDs. NCS folks been sizing themselves for rings all summer. Not sure you guys are respecting your DIIA opponents properly. DCA & DA have much more diverse offenses than NCS and plenty of players as well. FCS will be a force as always and MJCA is a sleeper. BGA is about to run NCS off the field next week. The good thing is NCS will face 3 cupcakes after starting 0-2 before they face another test in FRA. Don't take them too lightly. They have some studs.

The DA game with their very talented DII QB and RB will be of interest to a ton of folks. Im sure coach Brothers will have them healthy and ready after this surprising (no disrespect CA) result. Congrats to CA and best of luck to both teams this season.

Like I said, sounds like that RB will be all everything so once they get him back everyone will be shaking. Or it could be NCS is overyhyped and could ill afford to lose any starters, much less one the caliber of Wilhoite. I'm not really trying to bag on NCS but all the bluster on here leading into CA game was uncalled for when your O is a one trick pony. Too much bravado for me. I will be pulling for anyone but NCS in DII-A this year. I will also thoroughly enjoy the 35-7 beatdown they get next week. It's comical to hear the comments "once we get our RB back". OrangeEagle
Wilhoite has 119 carries for 1250 last year as a Jr. Myers 117 for 1173 last season as a sophomore. We had depth at the tailback position a year ago. If you read the earlier thread, I said NCS can't afford injuries. My understanding is CA comes to NCS next year. You will get to see that back up close. Good luck to CA

So much unwarranted hype around a small, overall unathletic, 1 trick pony playing DII-A football.
OrangeEagle
You clearly can't read or don't have good reading comprehension skills. What did you get on the ACT? By the way, 1 out of 4 and bad. Well, it kinda is
