The weather last week led to a wrecked schedule for a few teams. East Hickman appears to have the most brutal week, playing the team tied for #1 with them (Stewart County), the #4 (Lewis County), and #3 (CreekWood) in a 6 day span, with cross-county rival Hickman County squeezed in there too.

4 weeks remaining in the regular season.

Creek Wood and Stewart County are 1A and 1B and they could likely meet in a possible District and even a possible Region Championship Game depending on how both perform.  East Hickman is a scary #3 seed and they'll be a tough matchup being the host school in the district tournament.  Fairview/Lewis County/Camden all are trying to get away from East Hickman and land a spot in that 4 vs 5 matchup to open the tournament.  Hickman County and Waverly continue to compete as both look to face monumental tests to open the postseason against teams 1A and 1B.

The District 11-AA Tournament is set.

Creek Wood will be the top seed (coin flip) and they'll host Waverly in the opening round.

Lewis County and Camden will meet in the 4/5 matchup.  They both finished 7-7 in the district and split their season meetings.

East Hickman will be the 3 seed and they'll host 6 seeded Fairview in the first round.

Stewart County will be the 2 seed (coin flip) and will host HIckman County in the opening round.

My favorite time of year. Im thankful to be able to see some games after being sick for what seems like months. Didn't make it to the Camden game last night, but sounded good. Great to get that win and advance to the regions for this group.

I was shocked to see everyone got beat last night.  There were some very good teams in the district this year.

Not surprised at all. Ex 9A teams (Forrest and Community) have been very good for several years and MC and Nolensville are getting better.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
