MC is coming off of a beat down at the hands of Brentwood and is looking to take it to Nolensville for a final tune up before round one starts.

Now, Now Leadfarmer your Tigers need to be nice to the young Knights they don't have seniors yet and if you make them mad it might come back and bite you next year when they grow up.

You know when you are fishing for the Bluefin Tunas you have to release all shortys (under 73 inches) moral of the story is Nolensville is getting better every week and next year you will see a full grown Knight. WT

What you talkin bout Willis!?!? I know the Knights have shown alot of improvement in their first real year of football. They get better each week. Hester has done a great job with the new program.Nolensville will win the region next year and I think they will contend for a state title the very next year as long as enrollment keeps them in 4A. Their roster says 60 sophmores...is that correct?

I can't answer that question but a large amount of their players are 10th graders. Their enrollment numbers will continue to rise and next year might be the last year of 4A.

Nice short piece on channel 4 this evening. Said they are the first ever team to make the playoffs in their very first year. Said more than half their players don't have drivers licenses yet.

Nolensville will be legit next season for sure.

My understanding is they are literally a 6A school already without any seniors and will only play 4A this year and next  before redistricting happens.....That said, I am picking Nolensville for the upset. Been keeping an eye on them all year. Great improvement. Marshall County can normally out-athlete most teams in the district, but they wont be able to do that with Nolensville. Good luck to both teams.

That is a little surprising to me. I expected a better contest. Is MCHS running the ball or throwing it? I imagine in this weather they are running it?

Both. Not raining here yet. Wind is up a little though. Nolensville doesn't look bad and they definitely have some athletes.
