Can either region sweep? That is a big negative.

Both of the 1 seeds should win no problem. Cane Ridge plays Centennial who they who they already beat by a couple scores earlier in the season. Brentwood plays McGavock and that will be a blowout. McGavock lost to Stewarts Creek a team that Brentwood beat 42-7.

Ravenwood (8-2) plays Lavergne (4-6) and that should be a blowout. Ravenwood lost 2 games by a field goal. Lavergne won 4 games and 3 of those game against 1-9 teams (Antioch, Overton and Whites Creek) and the other against Stewarts Creek (4-6). Lavergne also lost to 5A Franklin County (5-5), Lebanon (5-5) and Wilson Central (3-7).

I think that Smyrna (7-3) and Independence (5-5) is a good matchup.

Independence went 5-5 but they lost to Oakland (10-0), Brentwood (9-1), CPA (8-2), Ravenwood (8-2) and Summit (8-2). They allowed a fair amount of points though allowing +21 points in 9 of 10 games.

Smyrna went 7-3 with losses to Cane Ridge (9-1), Blackman (8-2) and CPA (8-2). But they barely beat several average teams like McGavock, Stewarts Creek and Lavergne. They have been good defensively though allowing 14 or less in 5 games and only allowed 28 to CPA, 35 to Cane Ridge and 42 to early season Blackman. So I can't see Independence putting up a ton of points.

Johnny thinks if any region got a shot at sweepin its region 6. Centennial is improved from a rough start and had brentwood on the ropes. Ravenwood put up huge numbers on Indy and can run or throw it as good as anyone. Brentwood has been destroying fellers since their Ravenwood loss. Indy is a toss up with Smyrna. Their not playin with much confidence headed into that game and have to QB to toss the ball around. Some would say the best talent in the region, but some of the worst coaching in Johnny's opinion. 

Johnny knows a little about LaVergne, Smyrna, and CR. Nothing about McGavock except for that stud RB. Dont think its a sweep. Either Cane Ridge or Smyra cause a problem on that front.
