Congrats to these young men!

This just proves my theory that TN prep sports writers have no clue about much of anything. Congrats to the young men on this list, but there are a couple of names left off that are much more deserving this year. Move the nomination process to the coaches of the classification. Each region would nominate a semi finalist and the coaches would collectively select the winner.

I myself fell sos should be a big consideration however Cade Ballard has to be the favorite

I have not seen all of these guys play but I can say that the Liggett kid from Marshall is a great player. He would get my vote.

Mr. Football always has politics surrounding it, and it is not a perfect process at all. It really comes down to how much exposure does the player get, do the TN Prep sports writer like the football team, coaching staff, or dislike etc. Does the kid go to a big time football school or an average or sub par football school 

At the end of the day we can all agree these are all excellent football players. We just can't get too hung up on who does or does not get Mr. Football.

I agree Seth Carlisle should be on the list. Macon would be a 3-7 team without him.
