Starting QB got hurt the 2nd Q. That really affected the play calling from that point on.

A 0% chance is an absolute impossibility.

I’m not predicting a win by any means, just saying this team SHOULD give Giles a better chance. They had so many injuries, they had to pull a WR to play QB last year. It may be a complete blowout, who knows. Hopefully it will be a good game.

Wasn’t a running clock last year and certainly won’t be this year.

Out of the past 2 years they have played, this is Giles’ best team. Giles kept it close last year until the 3rd. It could be closer than people think.

You can’t be this one dimensional and beat Giles.

Anyone know if this will be streamed online? I’m not seeing it on NFHS.

Heck, we drive that far for a couple region games too. Ridiculous!

Giles rushed for over 300 yards on Sequatchie. A lot of those were big plays and not sustained drives.

34-0 Giles at the half. Surprised it’s this one sided for a region championship game.

This game wasn’t even as close as the score indicated. Richland was in full control from the beginning. Coaching was definitely the difference here. Flags were due to frustration on Cascade’s part. When you outweigh both lines by an average of 100+ pounds and still get whipped, you start getting careless.

East special teams are killing them! Can’t make those mistakes in a championship game.

Giles D held their own in the 1st half. Unfortunately we don’t have the firepower on O to make this a game.

One thing to keep in perspective is that Giles has been playing without their star running back for a few weeks now due to injury. That has meant playing with their backup QB so their starting QB can play RB. Heard that the RB is back and starting tonight. Should greatly improve the weapons on offense for the cats.

Terrible missed call! Alcoa clearly fumbled the ball and East recovered.

Very surprised at the sharp drop off between Alcoa’s first and second team. Will #11 be the QB next year?

Bobcats are clearly outmatched. Anyone else watching on NFHS Network? Man these Alcoa announcers are so obnoxious it’s hard to listen. I know the team is good but good grief, have some humility.
