THERE WE GO!!! That's the D Lions defense we know! 3plays & out for SH, D gets punt out of bounds at our 32 yd. 1:41 left... 12 yd run, nearly intercepted, next play, pass, SH has good coverage, Yates tucks & runs 30+ yds, T Jones runs into Red Zone, .. pass incomp., TYRONE JONES runs in from 16, another TD , pat kick good, Dresden 21- Scott's Hill 7 with 40 secs left. SH gets ball, 2 good running plays, didn't score. Halftime 21-7 Dresden ahead. SH playing inspired and running good, nice ball control, reminds me of (forgive my cussing...) Huntingdon Mustangs. You know what's coming, and I dare you to stop us. Eats up yardage like a sod-farm machine. If wasn't for SH's two turnovers the score could be other way. I love Dresden Lions, but honestly, our defense against the run is weak. I hope this is the last half our defense plays like that for the rest of the year. Our offense is big play & quick scoring, lots of athletes & options. 

Get after them next half Dresden. DOMINATE!

Dresden gets kick, squibbed off our guy, we cover, 1 4 yd pass, SH gets huge sack, nothing on 3rd, D punts, nice one, SH resumes running. 6yds, 3y, almost sack their Big QB nice 2nd effort for 1st, .. 2yds, BAD SNAP for a loss, 3rd & 17, pass.. but good coverage, SH big QB tucks & runs over some if our guys for 10, SH punt on 4th, punt is out at 38 yd line. Pass no good, 2nd down D holds for yet another penalty, 2nd & 23.. ANOTHER penalty nullifies nice pass gain.. uhgggg... Well, SH declines, 3rd & 15.. ANOTHER penalty.. On 3rd & 20, Yates is being tackled, tosses to Jones, runs 30+ yds.. on next play dresden HOLDING, ... .. 2nd & 22, nice pass to Divers Lockhart, 1st down... Our QB Yates runs to 13 yd line.. 1st dn pass incmpl, 2nd dn Jones run for 4, on 3rd & 6 , Yates runs over a few, on 4th & 2 .. T Jones runs up middle for TD!!! pat kick blocked, 27-7 Dresden up with 3:49 in quarter. ... Oh no, one of SH guys hurt. ..helped off limping, hope he OK. .. Whew wee... enough play by play. ..I can't type this fast. .. Update scores only. :-) (And the crowd applauds wildly!)

      Y’all boys can’t spell discipline. Probably lead the state in personal fouls last year. Being halfway disciplined in 1 game against Smith County in 3rd round doesn’t dismiss the rest of the season. “Shoulda” won the state championship but those mouths got the best of you yet again. Marion already had a lot more retuning than y’all this year. Adding these 2 D1 kids will 100% make a major impact. Marion will stand on business this year. They haven’t forgotten. I’m just keeping it real

      MC upgraded with 2 studs. If they can’t get it done this year with a generational speed talent in Pickett then I’m not sure they ever will. Huge favorite in the East currently.    Multiple offers from FCS calls for gold.

      Marion just jumped ER as the favorites in the East. Two big time transfers for y’all kinfolks. Bullseye has been set now. I said it the last two years it is time and both times y’all let me down. Can’t say you’re short on talent this year or that you’re young. Time to put up or shut up. Surely y’all can get over the hump this year. I’m just keeping it real

      Should have won by 30 last year if we played discipline at the very least. May have got 2 dogs up front but remember we have the best DL in the state on our team. Also added a 6’6” 320lb O lineman.
