i wasnt attending the game but by word of mouth ive got some limited information. in the first half it sounded like a total blowout as the score went something like 16-2 FRA. after this rude awakening HH managed to take the lead at the half, 29-24. Sarah Baker made the turn around during the second quarter being both an outside threat on the perimeter and able to take it to the @@@@, where she made it or got fouled. the team also supposedly played some tight defense. Veronica Pike got her 20 points and michelle street hit some from the outside. downfall for hh was said that hh posts only got limited touches. FRA won by 9, but complements for both teams. although Harpeth Hall will need to work on distributing the points if they expect to accell this season, they showed promising results for the future. congrats FRA

hope this helps a little frhsrules

Baker had the game of her life as the lid was closed on the goal for the rest of the honeybears. Points should be better evenly distributed throughout the season...a performance like that does not usually occur for HH.

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
