oldcoacht1950
Jonathan Miller from Centennial and Dylan Lynch from Father Ryan can play this position as good as anyone mentioned. Miller is the smoothest fielder of all and Lynch's range is phenomenal. Lynch is probably a better hitter, but both have "star" potential. Highheat25
Brad Cobb is full of himself, Bobby Bratton is so much better.

hardball03
Is Jacob Coleman still starting at SS for Overton HS. IF HE IS.....look no further for the best SS in the midstate area..........guaranteed. He won the job as a Freshman. He's the real deal! 4loveofthegame
Also choked under pressure as he made an error against Columbia Academy on the last play of the game last year to give CA the win. Easy grounder hit right at him that was bobbled and then he threw it to the football field. If I remember correctly he bobbled a few and did not handle many clean all day. Austin03
I think the kid from Centennial, Jonathan Miller, is good. He can hit for power and average, with solid fielding he should be one of the best in the mid-state and the state as well.
hardball03
How are Miller's hands and his range?
bosshog1
Coleman quit the team, did not even try out this season.
Lefty42
I have to say that the two best short-stops i have seen so far this year is Michael Fisher from MBA and Jonathon Miller from Centennial. Both of those are great shortstops with chances to go far. They both have great bats and arms which are great qualities for SS. Watch out for them this season. apsuqb
Drew Turman from Columbia Academy
bigcat33
I know that Greenback is not in MidTen but they have a dynamic shortstop. Trae Helton. He is a switch hitter that hits the ball well both ways. As a matter of fact he took one out to center right handed against sequoyah. On top of that he is a 4.1 student. He has taken every advanced class they offer and has done well. He wants to attend Vanderbilt but is still just a Junior.
