I went to the cw richland game.....it was a great game, very exciting.  I would describe Richland as a very big and physical team.  Lots of large linemen.  I wasn't super impressed with their offense but their defense was very good against the run.  their linebackers are very solid from what I saw.   Against the pass they were a lot softer.  They did make a pick at the end of the game to pull out the win against Collinwood tho.    Richland has a decent qb who can deliver a nice pass.  They have some decent rbs too.

Should be a good one , Richland has a couple of big backs that double up as their inside lbs, they also have a pretty impressive freshman at QB. I do not think they have much depth however .MTP can be as good as they want to be. The talent is there, the question is will they take advantage of it. I think that they could run away with this one if come out the gates ready to play. If MTP does have to put it in the air things could get ugly for Richland pretty fast, Lovely is a gun Slinger. I also look for MTPs Defense to step up again.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
