...yes they r both undefeated.....but thinkin one of these 4-0 seasons has come with a lot less competition than 1 of the others.....and they ant no comparison in the region wins

...for instance...lets look at Spartys D2-AAA Baylor Red Raiders monster 4-0 schedule and list of Tm'sd it has enlisted to play against ....

D2-AAA - Baylor

     34-0     3A - Brainerd (0-4) outscored 151-6, (2018) 4-7

49-6     D2-AA - Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Independent Pentecostal Assembly (1-2), only win against a winless 1A Whitwell, outscored 91-6 in its other 2 losses, (2018) 5-6

     42-12   D2-AAA - FRA (1-3), only win against a KY Tm who's 4 opponents only have 3 W's between them, (2018) 2-9

     52-7     4A - Harrison (1-3), only win against squeaked out against Sequoya (0-4), outscored 146-23 in its other 3 losses, (2018) 5-6

.....so Baylors 4 contest W's have been against opponents with a total record of 3-12....3 of Baylors W's are against Tm's outscored 388-36 in 4 games......those 4 opponents 3 wins have been against opponents who have no wins.....thinkin its quite obvious to all who dont wear Red Colored glassess as to whats gonna happen when the folk from over at Suk Creek finally run into D2-AA Ensworth next week

Baylor should b healthy at least

No disagreement there as far as schedule so far but that leads me to ask. Why did Notre Dame drop Baylor? Would have been better compition than everyone except Father Ryan.

Too much speed for Baylor in the end. I know they have the Transfer from Webb but overall too much speed and the fact Baylor has not been tested yet or even played an average team yet like Booger said. I may be wrong but I am going with Ensworth by 2 TDs.

You’d be surprised with Baylor speed. It’s more than catholic and they should have squeaked it out from what people are saying.

.....and yes Sir...the Irish scheduled up against Baylor outta district...sumthin Sparty cant even get close to sayin.....thats a try and keep my job schedule and Sparty nose it

Yes Boog. All non-region games are two year contracts. That’s how it typically works. So why was the contract not renewed? I was around when Baylor was trying to fill their 2019-2020 schedule and I know for a fact Notre Dame was asked to renew the contract. So why not?

Father Ryan is better than ND this year. So 3 out of the four. Yes. Don’t you worry though. Every single team left on Baylor schedule is better than ND this year so it will even itself out.

Sparty

....as for the contract...the ND/Baylor 2 year matchup was met sugar.....as for the renewell.....ND did what it has done for quite sumtime now....it chose to play up outta region against a new stronger competition givin sumone else the opportunity to take down the the Irish.....Irish wanted to go back outta of state and your beloved Suk Creek was replaced by a well known state contending program up in KY......just like the 2 year Knox Catholic contract ND had before the Baylor 2 year contract.....

....Sparty nose....its the same Knox Catholic school that has slapped your boys around the last two years like they were a b-team to the tune of about 99-40....and its only that close because of the team ND let your Baylor replace called the dogs off.......so dont act like Sparty was at Suk Creeks negotiatin table for contracts and the fact that ND didnt renew that contract with Baylor cause the Irish were dodgin sumthin......Irish renewed tuffer

.....the Irish were schedulin better competition before Baylor...Catholic North is provin that......and once again...Irish scheduled up above Baylor this year to an outta state to KY and a presently undefeated 6-AAAAAA.....

......Father Ryan SHOULD b better than ND Sparty......they r a twice the size of ND Private school Sparty.....Sparty not doin so good here tryin to rattle shock Cage of Booger with surprises

.....not so sure that every single team left on Baylors schedule is better than ND.....Spartys suk creek juggernauts still have a tiny 2A team left on its schedule to Bookend those 1st 4 monster games....the rest on Baylors list which r all D2-AAA region teams should also b better than ND.....they r D2-AAA Sparty.......but Sparty can defend his Baylors 5 game outta region schedule however Sparty sees fit to defend it.....and talk about how great and improved they are at the same time.....your probably fixin sum stats hit a brick wall

Boog. You have a 9 game schedule. No reason to not renew with Baylor.

That Corbin team beat the weakest ND team I’ve seen in the past five years less than the worst two Baylor teams (in recent history) did the past two years. They must not be THAT good.

Historically I’ll agree. Notre Dame is better than Tyner. But seeing how Tyner dropped 50 on Central and your Irish were in an interesting game mid 3rd quarter and limped to a win I’ll take Tyner as the better team this year.

9 game schedule it is...and consideration the last 3 years for 8 games were high....and that could still happen

.....and ND may b weeker than they have been in a few years....maybe since Fant got there......who nose......only Chattanooga areas 2 self proclaimed HS football podcastin gurus Sparty and Patrick have the expertise to do that......well, maybe one .....but nobody on t is braggin bout how much better ND is gonna b......like Sparty is with his new team

.....and historically ND is not better than Tyner.....only 2 times theyve met in recent history....a two year contract Sparty.....they split 1-1........and usin the recent contest each just had with Harrison as a comparison model to pick Tyner over ND shows why u podcasters pickin percentages were so low last year.....or maybe one........and Historically ND has been better than nobody........everyone historically has been better than the Irish......until Fant showed up....the Irish had only three 8 plus wins seasons since like the 40's......shake the emotions and do your homework Sparty

....as for Sparty tryin to validate the Big Red Raiders outta District schedule as bein sumthin to boast about...and usin the Irish as a scaper goat outta the thread .....even to include sayin tyner beats ND because they r on the Baylor schedule.......ant workin to good for Sparty.....

....how did Tyner happen to lose to Howard yesterevenin Sparty.....so does Sparty say Howard beats ND

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
