I agree with JMorton on the band parents and have said that for years on here. I do not understand can someone help so EHS has 5 home games so no visitor fans will be allowed? Also EHS has 5 road games so can EHS fans go to them games and if so how do you pick who goes? 

This is not a political stance but I think Virginia got it right. Look at Greeneville and Johnson County in this area and the law of averages says that will happen with a lot of other teams. I disagree with a lot of what Doug Fritz writes but weeks ago he wrote football should go to spring and baseball should be played now and he was 100% right IMO. It looks like it will be a mess both with players and with fans. The TSSAA is awful idk how they keep getting by with their decisions a normal business would have went belly up years ago.

I guess I will have to go watch Gate City or Virginia High or John Battle play come March. I cant go to an Elizabethton game ( and I agree with EHS decision on tickets).

I hope WBEJ and /or Tom Taylor can still broadcast the games.

You are exactly right and I love watching these kids play the game of football.The people that know me know how much I love high school football.

My main concern with the Virginia plan is that we don’t know if things will be any better/different in the spring and if not it’s definitely a lost season at that point. I know there are people that believe that this disappears in November but this is not a political sight and I will not discuss politics on it. I’m sure Tom will be streaming the games but it may be a case of audio only so that the school can get their money from the NFHS revenue.

Well, it's already beginning. I saw an article today that said a North athlete tested positive. 70 is pretty steep to stream(at least for me) unless you have the chance to watch every game. How much of that goes to the school?

I’d say you would be hard pressed to get a answer for that. I’m sure tssaa gets a cut too so I would say it’s minimal. I’m glad they’re going to have some other sports too other than just football.

Did they say if it was gonna have Basketball? If so that might be the tipping point for me to pick it up

It’s a 1 year subscription so it might include basketball.

As I remember it they only give you 2 cameras for free to each school. One for each half of the field. I don't remember the article saying anything about cameras for basketball.

Wrestling was on there so I imagine if they will do it for that they will already have a camera in the gym. Now wether that’s included in the $70 is anyone’s guess.
