Yeah this could get interesting. The unknown could give the Mavs a handful. No one counting on a win for Clinton so they have nothing to lose. I am really worried that this new coach can present problems for the Mavs if not now maybe later. I am counting on an established program at AC to pull it off but I have seen this before where the unknown and the new pulls the upset. I am hoping for Clinton to show some promise and grow each game. It's always good to have a neighborhood rivalry especially since we no longer play Oak Ridge or CC.

Rivalries is what makes football so much fun! Not only should AC play Clinton every year, but they should also play teams like Oak Ridge, Campbell Co, Halls, Powell, etc etc..  not teams in Chattanooga. But that's just my opinion.

I understand that. I think now that AC has more consistent program this likely will happen sometime in near future. AC does not have the solid history and headstart like most other programs. Clinton has a good history and of course Oak Ridge history.

Who knows what will happen next year.

It's hard for me to pick a score because I haven't seen either team this summer. I believe Clinton's offense should be better but I don't know what to expect from the defense or special teams.  I'd say both teams could come out a little rusty so to speak. Might be low scoring with alot of penalties in the first half.

After the teams settle down things should start clicking.

With only inter-squad scrimmages it's hard to get a gauge on exactly where your team is weak at. Other teams expose your weaknesses that you can't necessarily see in practice or inter-squad. I fully expect rustiness for both teams.

That's true! Clinton has a new offensive coordinator and I think they're gonna try to open it up alot more.  New players in a new offense....should be interesting.
