Are you the parent that was complaining and now trying to divert the attention away from your complaining. And now talk about a win vs. a team going no where? ScottShasteen
Seriously? Y'all want to bring this kind of crap into a discussion about this outstanding team? Shame on you. There will always be complaining parents on any level of sports in any sport. That doesn't spell disaster for the team. It's just part of coaching and playing and parenting. Tullahoma will get a really good test this week against Beech. Win or lose, the Wildcats are already in the playoffs due to Spring Hill not being able to play this week. oldraiderfan
Franklin Co. will never have a good football team cause they will let the FC helmet club call the shot's, There biggest mistake was letting Coach McCurry go after he built the team , FC can's stand success, there seems to be a few that want to run things there way, instead of what coach wants.. Lots of turmoil on the inside over kids not practicing and then being targeted with passes because parents were complaining the week before about no targets for their son. These parents got coaches fired at their previous school. FC is a dumpster fire. That school needs to do whatever possible to drop down a class. It's a black hole. Every sports parent should transfer their children to another school if they are serious about winning and exposure. It seems to be an athlete problem there, especially in football. Or, maybe many of their good athletes don’t play football? I have no idea. It is true that they have not been very competitive in football in many years. By the way, dropping to 4A is not the answer.

Throw it up all the time. Parents who have gotten coaches fired at other schools are not happy because their kid isn't getting the ball vs. Marshall County. They only brought their daughter over so she could be the center of attention. If the son is not getting balls they will go to basketball. They have a CC coach there they can control. They can't get Olive fired but they will complain enough to cause headaches. Life long CC people and they come to Tullahoma????? Get real!! They have complained every where they have been including little league, travel ball and all other unless Dad was coaching, then no complaints. Missing practice last week is O.K. if you are not hurt? You are suspended for the first series on offense? Weak!!! Same Parents complained and jumped all over the QB on social media for not throwing their son the ball. Then they deleted it. People saw it and screen shot it. They are not worried about wins, they are worried about stats and attention for their son. Guys that were there get no balls but that one gets 3 because of play calls. These athletes do not only play Football. Most play all 3 or at least 2 and they are sophomores & Juniors. The can specialize at any time and it will not be FB that they pick. Since you are the Voice of the wildcats. Olive was known for discipline with kids all his years. Why is #2 allowed to cuss the other teams players and get personal fouls for taunting by cussing and nothing happens. This has been going on since he was a sophomore. Nothing happens. Why? He does his own thing all the time. He is a good player but not good enough to control the team and coaching staff.

Hard to speak the truth. So for the sake of a good season everyone shut up? Lets not deal with the real problems. Lets let players do as they will. Let the good kids suffer and not get any press only the ego manics and the kids that will cost you during crunch time. Kinda like a partnership or marriage. Just do what the other needs and let them get all they want until someone finally blows up and it all ends bad. Divorce or a bankrupt business and the kids and employees struggle! sportsguy22
Not to get in the middle of this coming from someone who has zero to do with this program, but I’d allow the coaches to coach and administrators to administer. That’s their jobs! From an outsider, this is the best Tullahoma team in years and why try to put all this “sour grapes”, “helicopter parent” stuff on here? How does that help your program and school, if indeed it is?? This seems so petty and silly. Is this a sabotage attempt of some sort? Just weird. Enjoy your team and the season it is having. Good grief!

I'm curious and just wondering. ....and just what are the real problems you speak of? I would suspect that every team, every marriage, and every business has to deal with "real" problems. I would also suspect that every student athlete is treated fairly, maybe not the same, but all fairly. Much like a business, and or marriage, not every transgression gets the same consequence. I hope that whatever it is that has you consumed with not being happy with the current situation, will ease up and allow you to see through an unclouded lense. In fact, if it's been that big of a concern to you, why haven't you approached those "in charge" and discussed your worries/concerns?

This is a Parent wanting the ball thrown to their kid all the time and complaining about it problem. (publicly about the QB not throwing them the ball) If you have ever payed this creates problems among the players talking about the situation and not respecting their teammate for having mommy and daddy complain to the coaches because he didn't get the ball. The coaches should let the parent know that they will throw the ball where it is necessary. If they don't like that move back to CC.
hollowman
Cakeman, my apologies. I fully understand your position now. I hope for all involved, that sound reasoning and maturity prevail, and that Tullahoma continues on the path to Cookeville. Too bad the match up between them and Beech won't occur, seems like it would have been a good one. Best wishes!
