This is been a great season for WC... unfortunately I think tonight was a prime example of building your entire offense around  (7) one player. I know he did not practice  this week and quite honestly playing him tonight didn't make a lot of sense. I don't think he will be heled up and ready to play 100% next week, and if that's the case why play him at all? Save him for the playoffs and give yourself a chance to advance another game or two.....

Yeah not a good look. With or without him, it likely won’t matter in the playoffs. Too one dimensional. Just can’t see them upsetting Hendersonville or Mt. Juliet on the road, and it probably won’t be close. Good run though. Gonna be an 8-game winning streak followed by three straight losses probably. Just ran into better teams here at the end.

I think they need to mix in a few more dump passes .. Pull that tight end across ... run the option like they have been let the olb come up and dump it just over his head... They still have some staying power, just need to get a little more creative.

    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
