I have heard so many different stories about the reason for the departure of coach Breeden.

I do know that as a coach he does work his players hard to prepare them for the task they set out to do. Not only will this help them now but in all of life endevours. Notthing is gain from a half attempt toward anything, hard work and knowledge along with pride and accomplisment give self worth. He has giving many young ladies a dream and desire to futher their education in this town also a sense in giving back to the commuitiy. Which I am sure he also refelected in is football as well as his teaching. Things are not always perfect but somtimes we have to make the best of what we have been dealt. I do hope that somthing can be worked out of the best for Coffee Co. as well as the students that attend and will attend I feel that the lost of coach Breeden will have a great impact on the school systems. But have ever things work out we wish you the best coach and our lost will defiently be someone elses gain. I sure hope we have the hindsight to see this.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
