Remember if you will the first round of the district tournament last year. RBS vs Celina went 3 OT's. If both team show up to play it could be just the same or better. But if one comes in a little off it could be ugly.

This should be a great game. It'll be whoever wants it more in my opinion and whoever prepares better. I don't know how bad Celina wants this game, but i know for a fact that the Bulldogs will be ready for this game! Good Luck to both teams.

This game has all the potential to be a barn burner. Cross county rivals head to head, both teams better bring their A games.

 

Celina- This team has some good potential. Nice perimeter play and some guys that are not afraid to mix it up down low. This team has had some mental lapses this season (kids fouling out in 3rd qtr) but has overcome them nicely. Celina's game so far has been pressure defense. Their mix of full court pressure and trapping defense has given teams problems early. Look for Celina to go to a press early and often to cause RBS turnovers that could lead to easy baskets. Keys to winning - Celina must get some leadership from their veterans, they must eliminate the mental mistakes in order to be successful this year (cut down turnovers). Celina needs to get their perimeter play involved early w/ dribble drive to the hoop. If they can get to the hoop the chances of scoring, passing to their big men, or drawing fouls is greatly increased.

 

RBS- The Bulldogs from the West must be able to handle Celina's pressure to have a chance in this one. They also must have court awareness form their guard play in order to get easy baskets against the Celina trapping defense.RBS has some nice young players that must mature quickly to start the run for the district title. RBS will have the home court advantage so their fans should be rocking the rafters at the Larry White Dome (kidding).

 

Both teams will lay it on the line in this one. Still too early to make a prediction on a winner. Should be a close one. Good luck to both teams.

Celina and Red boiling will have a good game for three quarters but celina is in a lot better shape.They run and gun 4 periods.Who can score for rbs besides meador.celina has 2 guys that are averaging 20 or more points a game.Stephans at 23 ppg and Watson with 25 ppg.Then you have Stafford giving his 10, Morris with 7 and the frogge boy with 8.i just dont see rbs scoring with them or running with them.Celinawill give the preseason number 1 ranked team a little taste of what a lot of people will get.Celina by 13.

We cant run with ya'll? We can't score with ya'll? Our strength is running and gunning. We are averaging around 80 points a game this year so there is no question we can put it in the hoop. The thing we have to do is play good, solid defense, which we have done very well in the early part of the season. So, wing23, or Chad Watson, if your gonna put a prediction on the game at least base on something that true. Can't wait 'til tomorrow!
