Ezell basketball in trouble?

Is it true that some of the stars are not going to play ball this winter?

A few "Stars" may not play, but the jury is still out. The kids may want to forget the stinging defeat in football. What a better way to forget it than to play bball.

 

I am not going to worry about it. I'll take kids with good attitudes.....

Ezell b-ball team has only had 11 or more players quit in the past 2 years. You have all the talent in the state...and lose two championships..how is that?

It should be an interesting and fun year for Ezell basketball, and I don't think there will be any great expectations. There is talent, though it is young and there is not a lot of height. I agree with Wizard about good attitudes, and that is what they have this year. As for 10 or 11 players quitting the past two years, the numbers are much smaller than that.

Is Tommy Frensley back to coaching anywhere since he left DCA? He, like Charlie Anderson, is one of the best coaches that Nashville has ever seen.

Is it football fatigue? Or, are these kids just tired of Chris Burnette?

 

I have seen these kids play 5 or 6 times the last two years. Athleticism abouds on that team. Two state titles were there for the taking but were left for someone else. The kids seem like hard workers and played well together. Some of the things they did were incredible and fun to watch. And then, some of the things they did were incredibly stupid. Those things came primarily from the coach. He underwhelmed me.
